Enrollment Process for Abernathy Sunshine Academy

We’re excited to welcome your family to Abernathy Sunshine Academy! Our enrollment process is designed to be simple and straightforward, ensuring a smooth transition for both you and your child. Here’s how to get started:

Step 1: Initial Inquiry

  • Contact Us: Reach out to our office via phone or email to express your interest in enrolling your child. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have about our programs, staff, and facilities.

Step 2: Schedule a Tour

  • Visit Our Academy: We encourage you to schedule a tour of our facility. This gives you an opportunity to see our classrooms, meet our staff, and learn more about our curriculum and daily activities.

Step 3: Complete Enrollment Forms

  • Application Packet: After your tour, you’ll receive an enrollment packet containing important forms, including:
    • Child’s enrollment application
    • Emergency contact information
    • Medical and health information
    • Parent agreement and policies
  • Submit Forms: Complete and return the enrollment forms along with any required documentation (such as immunization records) to secure your child’s spot.

Step 4: Pay Enrollment Fee

  • Registration Fee: A one-time enrollment fee is required to process your application. This fee secures your child’s place in our program.

Step 5: Orientation Meeting

  • Meet the Team: Before your child’s first day, we’ll schedule an orientation meeting. This is a chance for you and your child to meet their teachers, learn about daily routines, and discuss any specific needs or preferences.

Step 6: First Day Preparation

  • Supplies and Items: You’ll receive a list of suggested items to bring on your child’s first day, including a change of clothes, comfort items, and any necessary supplies.
  • Communication: Make sure you’ve downloaded the Famly app to stay connected and receive updates about your child’s experiences.

Step 7: Start Your Journey!

  • Welcome to Our Academy: On your child’s first day, our caring staff will be ready to welcome them and ensure they feel comfortable and excited to begin their journey at Abernathy Sunshine Academy.
